Hi guys I live in Dundee Scotland and I am looking to plan a Behcets day, Professor Fortune. And her clinical team have also offer to do a talk and hopefully educate those that don't know about our disease and maybe even start the process of having a clinic in Scotland like they have in England! Wales had a Behcets in a Day and it was a very successful day.
I am trying to find out how many would attend the day, for ideas, and just general support to get things moving.
I don't know about you but i have to fight for my funding to attend london's centre of excellence and think it would be fantastic to have our own in Scotland and like to think people out their in Scotland and all over really would be on board.
Thank you for taking time to read this and look forward to reading your replies

Hi Donna,
I live in Central Scotland and would attend any event that was planned. I had the good fortune to attend the British Society of Rheumatology Conference in Glasgow earlier this year, they did a session on Behcets where Profs Moots, Morgan and Haskard spoke, plus a professor from Turkey. It was excellent and very informative.
Have you been in touch with the Behcets Syndrome Society regarding this for help and support?
I'm not there yet, but I will be moving to Scotland in a couple of years (I've got dual citizenship, American fiancee and our children do not) once I finish my master's and I'm glad to see at least I won't be alone!
Hi Donna I stay in fort William, but I travel to Dundee for treatment every 12 wks would love it if we had the same support network as England has the have 3 specialist hospitals I would travel to any event, sounds good
