Cyndee - have you seen your GP? Addison's disease can be very serious if left untreated - I have 2 friends (sisters) with this condition who need a range of medication & close monitoring. It can also run in families in certain circumstances so I would recommend you visit your GP as soon as possible.

addisonian for years now. be cautious not to take excess cortisol. 30 mg is good for me but ive been as high as 50 mg. fludro is commonly under prescribed. get enough sodium with breakfast as you will likely below when you wake up. if your disease is autoimmune in nature be wary of pernicious anaemia, thyroid problems, celiacs, R. arthritis, etc... stress dosing is really only required when the body is under extreme stress. most patient stress dose for fairly insignificant stressors. i don't even stress dose for my 6 mi run every other day and feel completely fine.
