In hospital again

Hi all ,

I'm in hospital again , waiting on MRI to see what my back it doing , I've had two back ops already and read my medical notes and on my notes says I have disc disease , no one told me , I'm sure im going to lose my job

I'm really sorry to hear this but I am glad that you are at least getting some medical attention. I'm, sending you lots of warm thoughts and good well wishes too. I know it's really easy for me to say and much harder in reality, but please try and focus on getting well and not worry about your job. Have you applied for all the benefits that you can? Are you getting sick pay or ESA instead? The support workers based at the COE's can also help with benefit advice etc. Behcet's is covered by the Disability Discrimination Act and the Equality Act and so your work will have to be very careful before they take any action against you. Keep posting and letting us know how you are doing - really hope things start to improve soon. X

It would probably help if you have confirmed specific information about what your problems are. e.g. a copy of your notes/ letter confirming you have BD, disc disease etc. and perhaps something about the suspected stroke you had - what was the result of the tests for that by the way?
