Been told to start TFN ,, any body else on it and does it work ,, I see some people have lost their hair , since I have Alopecia I don't want to lose anymore , ,, thought on this drug please ?

arthritisresearchuk.org/art... I never lost any hair and haven't heard others mention it as a major side effect. Infliximab is an amazing drug and at around £1000 an infusion, we are so lucky to have the NHS.

I think you are referring to anti-TNF necrolysing drugs. These new biological drugs work wonderfully well. I have been on Infliximab for three years now, and only have very minor problems with Behcet's. I have certainly not lost any hair either! Where did you get that information from?

Also on Humira, approximatley 2.5 years now. I do not have too much issues with the sde effects.

But i read recently that the body can produce antibodies to the biologiclals,in Humira.
