Initially, i was given strong dose of steroids, but had to be weaned off because of osteopenie. Switched to azathioprine, but had uveitis flare despite it. switched to Humira.

In 2013, my uveitis spread to two eyes despite having been on Humira for at least a year. Doctors added steroids for a few months.

Eyes have been OK on Humira, no steroids, since 3 rd quarter 2013.

On colchicine since 2011

Hi

I'm on humira for uevitis. High doses of steroid could have been reposible for the glaucoma risk (very high eye pressure )I developed. I was put in infliximab but this gave me a bad reaction so am now on humira. I was concerned to hear that despite being on humira your uevitis came back. I have been told it can take longer for humira to build up and control your Behcets. They say my flare is currently rumbling in background rather than settles down which is disappointing. Can you let me know a bit more about your flare in eyes whilst still on humira, maybe by private message? I'm now slightly scared!!
