All clear with MRI

Hello everyone , you may not remember but I put a post on a few weeks back about my memory n stuff.....

good news is I had my results back from my MRI which has come back clear.. just wanted to say I feel so relieved now x

Hi there...good news that your MRI was clear and you are feeling more relieved. How is you memory and the dizziness now....has it improved?

Did the Dr's give you a reason for your symptoms ?

Hi ya,

Glad to hear you got all clear with MRI. I had a really scarey time back in March myself. Got admitted to hospital with a bad flare. Was getting really bad headaches and thought I was going mad as memory was terrible. Like you had MRI scans and thankfully the results were clear. Started on Propranolol just over a week ago to try and lessen occurrence and severity of migraines. Hopefully it will work. Hugs Clare x x

Hi there, I was just put on the same treatment as you. Did you feel any improvements with the propranolol?

Hi, Propranolol didn't work for me, but that doesn't mean that it won't work for you. Like all meds, different ones work better on some people than others. I now take Topiramate, which is used to treat epilepsy. My Rheumy has referred me to a Neuro, following my appt two weeks ago, and am waiting for an appt for that. Have had to up the Topiramate dose as migraines were starting to get frequent again.

Hopefully Propranolol will work for you, but don't loose hope if it doesn't as there are other drugs available to manage migraines Hun. Good luck x
