Hii, im 18 and have been in a relationship for over a year. Me and my partner are sexually active and have been from the beginning. Recently I have discovered two small hard lumps on the area of skin between my vaginal opening and my anus. They are not highly noticeable or painful but I am really concerned that they could be genital wars. I am going to the GUM clinic in the morning but can't sleep for worrying so I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me!? Thanks!!

The lumps are also white coloured.

Very difficult to say without seeing them but they may represent warts. Best to go to the GUM clinic and get them checked.

Don't worry. Either way they are harmless, very common and simple to treat.

Thankyou very much for replying they were in fact genital warts but they are very easy to treat and it is possible to clear the virus in a couple of years so im hoping for the best.
