STI or normal rash??

not itchy, not really raised but just noticed these red spots on penis head. Any ideas? A bit worried

Hi AmIParanoid,

There could be a number of factors going on here, these are not always serious and could be a result from poor hygiene or a minor irritation and should disappear in a day or two. sexually transmitted infection (Sti) can last longer and are accompanied by other symptoms, you say they are not itchy are they tender, or sore? could be tight clothes rubbing against you but if you are still in doubt, it may be worth you popping along to the GUM clinic or an appointment with your GP, don't be embarrassed they see cases like this virtually every day, good luck and hope this helped. Hi there thank you for your reply - yea there’s literally no other symptoms - not sure not itchy or anything literally just the red bumps but I’ve never noticed anything like it before. Like my username says I could just be being paranoid - my skin has been very sensitive lately. I’ll give it a few days and see if they disappear and go from there I guess. But you think the fact that there aren’t any other symptoms means it’s probably just irritation?

as an update it seems to be fading away as time goes on so honestly I feel like it could have just been irritation… I’ll keep my eye on it but still no other symptoms and like I said it’s fading. I’ll get tested just to be safe but I’m hopeful lol
