I have been on mycrogynon for nearly 20 years and I have recently been advised I can take it 3 months in a row without a break then 7 day pill free and then repeat. I have done this for 7 months now however I started spotting last week when I still had around 7 pills left to take and I am still spotting/ brown clot discharge 10 days later. And suffering from period pains, Is this normal?

this would be considered normal when "cycling " the pill in this fashion. If it continues to happen you may wish to cycle 2 packs together rather than three .
