bleeding on pill? brown discharge? is this normal?

Im on the Mercilon pill. I had my break for a period and restarted pill after 4 days. a few days later i took my pill 10hrs late (i have a 12hr window though). the next day i took it at my normal time and accidentally took another 3 hours later. yesterday i had this weird blood clot bleeding and brown discharge, and today i have some more pink/brown discharge. do i need to use condoms for a bit anf what should i do? is this just because i double backed? i attached pic of blood clot.

You don't need extra pills if you restarted on time - im not clear what you meant "restarted after 4 days " - were you four days late ?

instead of a 7 day break i only had a 4 day break

that's fine then you are still covered for contraception. If you are up to date with sexual health tests and smears, then this could simply be some unscheduled bleeding , and should settle down. If it continue to happen next cycle, you might need a CHC switch.
