How long before i am protected from pregnancy

I have been on Rigevidon (combined pill) for four months and needed to know after the seven day break how long before i am protected against pregnancy ? Also is there a risk of hair loss?

You’ve been fully protected since starting the pill four months ago! You can have sex at any time provided you take the pill as directed.

Both excessive hair growth and hair loss have been reported for Rigevidon.

Pretty sure if you don't start taking it again after your 7 day break you WON'T be protected you need to continually take it. I know if you've been on it for long periods of time e.g. years they say it can take upto 3 months to become fertile again BUT people can get pregnant straight away after stopping
