Copper IUD strings

I just went to do my monthly check on my copper IUD strings and I couldn’t feel anything even when touching the base of my cervix and the surrounding area. I have noticed an uncomfortable feeling near my cervix and I’m just slightly worried

If you're not in a lot of pain and not bleeding outside your regular periods, then contact your local sexual health or family planning clinic to arrange a coil check at the next available opportunity. You should either refrain from sex or use alternative contraceptive methods (i.e. condoms) until you get seen.
