Hï. Doing research on Trichomoniasis.

I understand it's an STD and it's spread

thru sexual activity even if intercourse does not occur.

My question is, Can a male or female get Trichomoniasis by any other way then engaging in physical intimacy? Weather by moist dirty towel or bed, toilets, swimming pools etc??

Textbooks discuss spread by use of Jacuzzis. How this has ever been confirmed, I do not know.
