Mirena coil, getting cramps

I had the Mirena coil fitted a few weeks ago. But I keep getting cramps. And I am getting bloody discharge after sex. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have also noticed that after my period my discharge seems thicker???

Going through the exact same thing spoken to my nurse who fitted it and apparently it’s normal it’s my body adjusting but she said if the pains unbearable then I need to contact them again

I had mine put in beginning of August. I had about 5 weeks of minor bleeding every day and a little bit of cramping but after that it's been a dream. Wish I'd done it earlier.

Good advice from the other posters. If the discharge doesn't return to normal could be BV , see your gp/sexual health service/coil inserter
