After having my first child I started taking cerazette pop pill for 7 months until end of July 2019 suddenly started to bleed by dots following 3 days proper period like. When I saw this I made an appointment with nurse then she changed to Evra patch to stop bleeding but no change in it. After taking Evra patch for 3 weeks then again I went and told the nurse about my problem. Then she changed another one which is RIGEVIDON® levonorgestrel and ethinylestradiol 21 days pill and 1 week off pill. I am trying this tablet for 11 days but still the bleeding has not been stopped since then. I am very new in these things so I am wondering what is going on with me and what are this bleeding is?

I need your help and advice please.

It can take a while for unscheduled bleeding ( common with the POP ) to settle down . I presume after 3 weeks of the patch, you went straight on to the pill without a break ? otherwise in the usual patch free week, you would have bled again. When the patch or pill is being used to control bleeding, you don't need to have a break until 9 weeks. If the bleeding continues after 4 weeks on the pill I would go back to be examined at the cervix ( presume your smears are up to date ) and to discuss other medical causes.

Hi

They checked the cervix before changing to Rigevidon pill and blood test has been recently done so she said everything is fine it shows. She advised me to start from patch free week.

So the bleed you had after three weeks of the patch was the hormone withdrawal bleed . So now you need to take the pill for 4 weeks minimum no break and see if the bleeding is controlled.
