Uncomfortable since having the copper coil fitted

Hello all, wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I had the copper coil fitted on Monday evening, little cramping and bleeding started throughout the night, since then I've been on and off bleeding but I'm finding it uncomfortable especially whlist I'm not busy, I dont know whether because im thinking about it but im actually in mild pain. No cramps as such just bloated feels and 'feel' uncomfortable inside if that makes sense.

Thanks in advance

Hi... Fom memory, that's what I had. So think it's probably quite usual. You will get some bleding at first... that should settle down and so should the pain. Try taking something like ibuprofen- after food, as it's an anti inflammatory. Don't know if you've come off the pill recently and switched to the coil... but if so, your periods may take some time to adjust.

If things haven't settled down after 2-3 months, then do go back.. some people get on with, some people don't. I did find my period were heavier than on the pill.
