My girlfriend got the coil fitted 3 months ago and she’s been having irregular periods and very severe abdominal pain, sometimes around the groin area. Normally the left side. Anyone have any suggestions?

Why suffer for three months? Take her to the emergency room or her gyno as soon as possible.

Go see someone!

If it's the copper coil the heavy irregular periods can be normal.

Thw other symptoms sound like it's not in properly
