Redness on penis have already had a check up for a sti infection

Can anyone tell me what the issue here is as my penis looks quite sore and I think is quite dry I have cut the banjo string 2 times during sex and think this might be partly to blame as I feel like it’s got a bit tighter since and feel it gets irritated and causes redness because of that can anyone help

There is pallor (whiteness ) of the area suggesting an inflammatory process . The breaking of the frenulum ( banjo string ) may be due to inflammation rather than the sexual activity. If you are based in the UK , I would suggest a sexual health clinic assessment , to rule out conditions like Lichen Sclerosus . Topical steroids would likely help.

You are most welcome. You could try hydrocortisone 1% cream for the areas, but as we cannot see your banjo string in the pic, im just concerned there might be something else going on in that area

A telephone line cannot see the picture that we have here. I have outlined what is visible, and advised him to go to a sexual health service. yes the frenulum ( banjo string ) can tear during sexual activity but as we cannot see the area, I am concerned there is another process affecting it.
