Sexual Health Nurse Interview

Hi, so I have an interview coming up for a job as a band 5 sexual health nurse which is my dream job. My experience as a nurse is actually in stroke care and so It is completely unrelated to my interview, however the basic nursing care is all there and I have been doing as much e-learning and research as I possible can for the interview and am passionate about this aspect of nursing. I was wondering if anyone has had an interview for a similar role and if they could suggest to me some scenario questions I may be asked as well as any other interview questions they could ask me. I feel unprepared as I feel this interview is going to be completely different to my last interview for my current position. Thank you

I don't have specific advice from a nursing perspective, but your experience is relevant, and also your approach and passion are definite plus points. Sexual health nurses often come from diverse backgrounds, so don't worry about that. Spoke to the nurses here and areas like PEP PREP safeguarding ( under 16s etc) being LGBTQ focused , health promotion/risk reduction , knowing when to escalate issues these are some of the topics. best of luck !
