Everyday pill

I started taking the pill on a Wednesday as advertised by my doctor so I’m unsure what I’m supposed to do about the other 2 pills should I start the next pack on a Wednesday An take them which is a bit of a pain or should I leave them and start the next pack on a Monday

I'm not sure what you're talking about. The everyday pill comes in 21 + 7 placebo pills or simply 21 pills pack. You never stop the pill but take the differently marked 7 pills last and in second case you give a break of 7 days and then start the new pack. Technically you should get the AF during this break but sometimes, especially when you just started it there might be vagaries in the pattern.... in which case you should call your doc to ask if you should wait till your AF stop to start the next pack or simply go on with the schedule.

It could be the progesterone only "mini pill" which is daily.

so If this is the combined pill, three weeks on, one week off, you start on a Wednesday, just continue the pack daily for three weeks and it means you will finish also on Wednesday.
