I recently have found out that I tested positive for chlmydia.Im on antibiotics for another infection in my body however my doctor has said that the antibiotics will cover it but im now experiencing extremely dry flaky skin down there and hot rashy skin down there too(it’s disgusting I know I’m so sorry ) but I’m concerned is that from something else because I have never experienced it before and as far as I’m aware it’s not directly linked with chlymadia.Also I’m still getting extreme pelvic pains should I be concerned? And is it possible to have PID even though your scan cans back that you have a healthy womb ? Thanks in advance for any advice .

I personally would check with a sexual health clinic to ensure that the antibiotics will also treat your chlamydia and whether it is enough. The symptoms you describe could be caused by so many things but it is also possible that you contracted herpes at the same time as the chlamydia and that this is the start of a first outbreak, again would suggest visiting a sexual health clinic (if it is herpes then it can only be tested for during an outbreak). You should not worry too much about the pelvic pain especially as your scans have come back good and can simply be a side effect of medication or symptoms of another kind of infection I would first discuss this with the sexual health clinic while being seen for the rest and if still worried go back to your GP.
