Trying to conceive...

Hi,

I've been taking the mini-pill for over 10 years without any breaks (Cerazette, Cerelle and most recently Faenolla). My partner and I recently made the decision to come off contraception and try for a baby. The problem I have is that prior to taking the pill I never really had regular cycles - I never suffered with cramp too bad and sometimes couldn't tell if a cycle was going to start! I've not taken any contraception for a month now and have had no real "reaction" to this as yet. I'm wondering if it may be worth taking the Phased Pill to try and regulate a cycle or should I just hang fire and give my body time to adjust?

Give yourself a break.... Time should heal... Don't expect your body to return to normal immediately after such a long time of taking contraception. Hopefully you will get the desired results within 6 months. Good luck!
