Mirena expired over a year ago

I’ve had the Mirena coil in for over 6 years now (I didn’t realise until last week and have booked in for a replacement). I’ve been having spotting, pretty sore breasts, lower sex drive and generally feeling up and down for quite a few months now but just put it down to hormones and maybe due to my age (48). Now I’m wondering whether it’s due to the Mirena ‘winding down’?

Anyone else had a similar experience with the Mirena?

I’ve never had a problem with the Mirena before and am on my second.
