Hi for the last few months I’ve been having reoccurring thrush and at the point I had just stared taking birth control tablets, I took Canesten internal cream on Saturday and the infection still seems to burn, went to the the dr today and got given 1 single tablet to take to see if it helps. I’m currently around half way through my pack of pills (21 day back) should I stop taking them and when?

No- don't stop taking the contraception unless you want to risk a pregnancy if sexually active.

Have another chat with your GP/nurse about thrush treatment. Sometimes it takes weeks to get rid of - or may not even be thrush. Get another appointment to discuss.
