Living with herpes

Hi x I was first diagnosed with herpes when I was 16 and had a terrible experience it was so bad I was in hospital and had a catheter fitted . It was awful . I’m now 37 and I am having another outbreak and I feel so depressed. It has bought out all those feelings . Does anyone else feel this way? I feel so dirty 😞

It's very normal what u are feeling love.But do not worry u will be fine.This is life and we go through some challenges.Try to go out eating out and doing things u love.Consider a natural path which is taking cayenne pepper,oregano oil,olive oil ,changing diet which means cutting most wheat and sugars ,replacing it with organic food.U will conquer and be brave my angel .All will be fine😍

Thanks for the advice x it’s just a horrible reminder of my past and a awful guy that I was with x I need to come to terms with it really I thought I had but I def haven’t . Thanks for the support x

Is it you’re second outbreak? I’ve had it since I was 24 and I literally had it every month around my period until I had a hysterectomy when it stopped however I do sometimes get it if I haven’t been looking after myself - I have it now just because I got drunk on Saturday night and was a bit tired!!

Why do you feel dirty? It’s only like having a coldsore? Maybe you need to resolve the feelings of why it makes you feel dirty? I know it’s funny telling people - I don’t offer it up in convo, but I don’t feel dirty - it just reminds me what an utter twat my boyfriend was at the time and reminds me of the time when I didn’t trespect myself enough to have a boyfriend that didn’t cheat on me : ).

If it’s only your 2nd time tho I bet you feel shite. The more you have it the less it hurts xxx

Hi it’s my 2nd outbreak since I was 16 and I’m now 37. I have had three children and it’s a long time since my first outbreak when I was so poorly and in hospital for a week with it . I suppose o had almost forgotten that I had it as it was a long time ago and it has bought up awful feelings and of the horrible relationship I was in. X
