it depends upon whether your oral herpes is type 1 or type 2. You can get 'genital' herpes on your mouth from oral sex and you can get 'mouth' herpes on your genitals from oral sex. Either way, any sores on your mouth increase risk of transmission during oral sex.
That's was how my boyfriend gave me herpes (gential). His old School mate had cold sore and he didn't know, she gave him oral sex and when we had back sex I found out I had herpes
