4 tries and still not pregnant

I have a 20 months old beautiful baby girl and I had her thru a c-section. Now she wants a sibling. My husband and I have decided to go for a second child and we have been trying to get pregnant for the past almost four months and no luck. This last time I was so sure that we will get pregnant as we did everything right by the book to catching my fertility window, ovulation time and before and after that but no results. I am not sure whether it had anything to do with my c-section or does it actually take that long to get pregnant after a 20 months baby break thru contraceptives. We use condoms not tablets. Any help? :(
