The organisation called Shelter has a web page describing those people a Local Council might need to support for housing if that they are of "Priority Need":

Personally for what it's worth I don't think that you are worthless at all but have great value as a human being. I'm really sorry to hear about the difficulties that you are having.
I'm in the United States so I don't know anything about the UK.
However I was homeless off and on for a number of years so I do know how difficult, frustrating, scary, and discombobulating that can be.
I hope that you can find the support and the things that you need so you can find housing right quick.
