Hi AlexZaharia02,

It sounds like you're having a rough time at the moment. I would very much recommend you have a chat with a free helpline who can help you work through what you're currently feeling. Papyrus are a lovely organisation who have helped me in the past too. You can email Pat@papyrus.org.uk or you can also call 0800 068 41 41 or text 07860 039967

Or you can give the Samaritans a call on 116 123.

Speaking about how you're feeling can help get some perspective when everything around you feels closed in. I know when I've hit the same place you feel you're in, I've had to find the hope I didn't have in myself through others points of view. It can be a gradual process with ups and downs but it's nonetheless worthwhile. There is absolutely nothing cowardly about not ending things. The opposite actually.

I don't think you should give up on things, and I hope you can keep weathering the storms. They never last forever.

Hi AlexZahari02,

I know it can feel like things really suck sometimes and it can seem pointless but, that is when things that you usually enjoy are pushed away. My youngest has in the past struggled at these time and there's usually a trigger that then snow balls things to make us feel like everything is shit as you say but, that's the snowball, or shitball if you will. You have to stop rolling it and let it thaw.

What about your art and comics? They aren't shit but, I am guessing you aren't doing these things so much right now? Could you start on those things again?

What are other things that you enjoy ? Do you like any textures that feel nice? Like cloth/stone/wood something that allows you to regulate. Or sounds, certain music that's neutral or positive, things you like to watch or any games you like to play? Any exercise/dance/running/walking. And foods that are comforting. All these things can help you to switch how you are feeling at the moment.

The snow ball tends to come after being overwhelmed by something and then everything else jumps on board. There's also something called autistic burn out where too much expectation has been too much and you end up flat and potentially feeling down.

I know I asked before but whose there that can support you and maybe even advocate on your behalf ? If you really don't have anyone then definitely get in touch with the numbers NotJim has given you.

Hey Alex , I'm someone who has been suicidal all my life due to past trauma , I tried committing suicide twice in my life and I'm so grateful to My Lord that I didn't go . Today I have 2 beautiful sons and my life is a lot better. You are not useless, the world needs you which is why you are here . Everyone has a purpose here you need to find your purpose. A day will come when your life is a lot better and you will be thankful you didn't end it .
