Next do went on holiday abroad and in the heat their car kicked off -it was the most awful loud piercing electronic noise and right next to our windows on very hot day. I was all ready hot but as the noise did not stop i began to get hot, confused and desperate i wanted to get away but there was nowhere i could go in the heat. I dont drive. I needed to contact authorities and struggled to concentrate and with cotton in my ears i found it difficult to hear on the phone. It took over two hours to trace a relative of the owner who came with a car key to stop the noise. The environmental health officer, a woman, seemed to be trivialising things a little and seemed to be questioning the urgency. I think she did not understand how loud noise like this affects some people. My ears hurt and i was going a bit demented. Has anyone else experienced their temperature rising when exposed to loud noise? It makes me feel so odd and alone when other people have no idea what i am experiencing. I am 61 now and had no real help because when i was young i was clever at school and well behaved. I couldnt even get on a bus because we have no free bus passes until we are 66 here. I felt like I was trapped in hell. )o:

All kinds of strange things happen to us when our conditions overwhelm us. In my opinion it helps to have something to focus on or to find something to believe in for strength and support. Otherwise, we just end up living with the condition and the consistent constant consequences. Your experience sounds like me when I start getting anxious as a result of such intrusions; loud songs can feel as if we are being driven crazy.
