Does anyone use a tricycle?

I've been looking at Allabilitycycling.com and specifically the Shopi Folding T Cycle.

It has two wheels to the front to assist the balance impaired and comes with extras

such as additional supports and a motor to assist pedalling.

Hi wobblybee

I don't use a tricycle but I would think about getting one. I use a static pedal exerciser which I find both fun to use and good exercise. And I love being outdoors. I think a tricycle would combine both those things perfectly.

They look fabulous!

A long time ago I had a pretty Pashley tricycle. It looked lovely, but I hated riding it. It was too high and I felt very unstable when I went round corners.

These are much better designed and have a lower centre of gravity. They look great fun.

Abbofella, Hi Thinking of a trike myself, hired one at Center Parcs. did not get on well as I found the fact that it did not lean into corners disconcerting. However stability and somewhere to sit when not pedaling excellent. Like the model you are looking at. 2 wheels at front good idea as I several times forgot rear wheels were wider an hit various posts . Like the motor!! Suggest extended trial to see how you get on.

yes, I did for several years and loved it, unfortunately since moving to sheltered housing I had to sell it as there is no room to store it. However I would strongly recomend using ione.
