Even decaffeinated coffee has a bit of caffeine in it so it’s probably best to avoid coffee in the middle of the night but important to keep hydrated.
I usually wake around midnight after falling asleep around 10pm (though incredibly fatigued from about 5pm) but a visit to the loo helps me to relax again though I’m often lying awake for about an hour before dropping off again. I then sleep until about 6 or 7am. I think if I was to get up and do chores as you do my body clock would be affected. I try not to sleep during the day however tired I feel.
