Headaches following MRI spectroscopy?

Wondering if anyone else has had headaches following a MRI spectroscopy carried out at Sheffield?3 headaches in 8 days which is very unusual for me. I used to get migraines years ago but luckily only 1 or 2 a year now, also headaches in between so to have these now is unusual.

A spectroscopy, as I understand it, is only carried out at Sheffield and is worse than a normal MRI. Louder, takes longer and am thinking it probably will have more impact on the brain. Just hoping that these headaches will subside soon.

Hi Penelope2 I had another in December I felt very muddled after it but I cannot recall having headaches. It did take along time though.

Hi, I had mine at Sheffield but I did not have headaches. I got covid in December that gave me a headache and throbbing brain. I do feel enclosed in them and they do make a noise. It did give me a diagnosis though, so was worth having done.
