Recommendations for Travel Agents? I’ve just started googling and checking out Disabled Holidays and others.

My wife sorts out our holidays. We used to book through Thomsons (now TUI) She finds it better now to do it herself on internet. She never fancied doing this before thinking it would be more hassle than worth. She can do it online without the hassle of (myself being disabled) assisting me in and out of the car and a slow treck using my walker all the way to the travel agents. She usually uses 'On the beach'. Everything is done over the phone. Less hassle I think.

Thanks for the reply. I’m starting to think about choosing someplace first with the usual sites, then checking out their disabled rooms. I’m a full time wheelchair user BTW.

Good luck. Hope you find somewhere suitable. We have been on a few cruises. They have disabled cabins in board. I was able to take my mobility scooter on board

I’ve heard good things about cruises, they’re on my list! For now, I fancy holidaying in a Tuscan villa next January, when it is cold and damp at home.

Very nice. One of our cruise ship stops was at Livorno. Not a very attractive port but great excursions including one to the Leaning tower of Pisa.

I flew into Pisa airport several years back, I didn’t visit the tower, weirdly, but did visit Florence. Was the cruise booked through On the Beach?

The cruise was with Thomsons Brett. That was a few years ago. The last couple of years we used 'On the beach' . Last holiday was a week at Salou, Spain.
