Don't doctor's ever examine people anymore ?

I'm guessing I'm not the only one here, it just seems since Covid, any doctor you ever get to see (even my neurologist who is an Ataxia expert and very thorough) only want to sit down and ask questions, while filling in some form.

No one lays hands anymore - how do they expect to diagnose problems.

Recently I was referred to an orthopaedic doctor because of kneepain, he just half heartedly felt my knees through my jeans.

And trying to get to see a GP -forget it.

The effects of Covid will be around for a long time.

Rant over

Ditto! I go through the same thing, with my Doctors They sit down, and talk, and that’s it! Data is put into their computer, and, for some reason, they like to refer one to a counselor! No exam!

Hi, yes not like days gone by. I only get phone calls, can’t examine people over the phone. Have to wait a month to see a doctor, then yes just on their computer. Where is medical care, I ask ? Thought we just had to get on with life and live with covid.

Bless you for replying, it's SO frustrating.I'm sure most medical people want to help but it feels like no one really wants to listen or even believe you sometimes.

All the best..
