Severe balance problems
Hello Roy , I have the same condition, diagnosed 3 years ago. I am not sure if you can but you must keep active. Keeping active keeps your nerve stimulated and it keeps your leg muscles strong. I am determined to keep my mobility on 2 legs, so I do everything I can to keep me on my feet. I bike 5 xa week, treadmill x3. Yoga stretches x7 a week and pilates x4. You should start with yoga mobility on a mat sitting. Hope this helps . Or get some ankle weights and do some seated leg lifts.
Hi Bev thanks for reply up until a few months ago i exercised a lot,my balance is so bad i can't stand without a solid structure to hold onto so wheel chair bound now even on my hands and knees i tip over.I have an appointment at QCUH on 22nd april hoping they can shed some light on it .
