I wear a bootie type slipper with velcro fastening, with my wide gait walking I find the slipper collapsies on the inwards side of the slipper.

Has anyone got any suggestions, or can recommend a good pair of slippers??

Thank you! 😀

For safety reasons I was told not to wear slippers.

Instead I wear slipper socks with non slip soles.

I bought mine on E.bay.

They are thermal and really warm .... would not wear anything else.

🙂 I’m actually sorting stuff at the moment, since we downsized there’s just no room for anything but essentials 🙄I came across a pair of bootee slippers, with Inner Soles I’d been prescribed by a Chiropodist. These inner soles were partially built up with a pronounced instep, and were meant to help with balance a gait. Why they’d ended up being stored is beyond me 😶

🙂 They did stabilise me in the bootees, and I’m now wearing them in my current slippers..

I have the same problem Don and I live and die in mine and have found sheep skin to be the answer but they are very expensive. I think it's trial and error to find the ones that suit you best, Changing the subject ,I really enjoyed the video you posted of the lady hiking through the Alps. I used to live there many many years ago and it brought back many happy memories Thank-you!

I haven’t been able to wear slippers for some years. I fell and broke my femur, now my left leg is 15cm shorter than the right. So I wear slip on shoes that have the left one built up and orthotic insoles that have the arch.

I'd give my eye teeth for a pair of ladies size 10 slippers

they need to guard against stubbed toes (leather), tight fitting but comfy, breathable, as pink and fluffy as you like

Try eBay, if you don’t have eBay, find it in the App Store and download it.🙂
