I finally saw a physio therapist and she said - walkers with 2 wheels at the front with brake and seat and ferrules at the back - I showed her u- step and she was not impressed with the price, does anyone use - walkers with 2 wheels at the front with brake and seat and ferrules at the back - we could not find it on internet. Thanks for your help.

Have you looked online at mobility aids? Try Angel Mobility.I found the rollater with the seat too wide for the doors, the one I had was a 4 wheeler, I have seen the one you are talking about with the ferrules at the back, look like a struggle to use?

I could not find the walker on angel mobility - I found this Drive Medical Two Wheeled Walker with Seat, - I have asked for a demo. Let's see what happens

when i had one with ferrules it was hard to use, especially when changing surfaces and entering buildings. they all seem to have a little metal band on the floor at entranceways and i had to lift the walker to get over it.

rubber things that go on the bottom of walking aids, like crutches and walking sticks

I wouldn't be happy with 2 wheels. Posture is important so think tall.

I agree with you I think I need a 5 wheeled walker by complete care - I still haven't bought anything - have a look at this it's great.

i did use one with ferrules when i first started using a walker. i bought it on amazon for around 50. if you can get your dr to write a script, you should be able to get a walker through your insurance.

I just bought the Top-of-the-Line ("Express") rollator from Nova. It has 2 large wheels in front, and 2 smaller rear wheels. It is compact and weighs about 17 lbs. It has a seat and a front bag. Good brakes. It folds easily. The bigger wheels in front do better on unsmooth surfaces - you can get smaller wheels for less money. Not on amazon here. It costs about $289 USD.
