It seems that we have amazing talent amongst us.

Artists creating beautiful handmade items like painting, clothes, jewellery, et cetera.

Artists creating beautiful handmade items like paintings, clothes, jewellery, et cetera.

If we opened a free account on Etsy or FB Marketplace we could sell those items and donate some or all the proceeds to Ataxia UK research?

I am a silversmith and I make glass beads, I could create a line to reflect the amazing work they are doing.

Would anyone join me?

Would you consider discussing this idea at your next local group get together?

Indeed! And we are looking for ways to display this on line to raise money for ataxia support and research. Keep an eye out for publicity from Ataxia UK in the next few months.

I make greeting cards and could sell some too. And donate the funds to ataxia.

I live in France so bit more complicated, but I'm sure could be done.

Excellent idea

I am not so good now - typing is very hard.

But I used to be a ceramic artist and gave a donation to Ataxia UK from each sale - I also did a mother/daughter exhibition at Worcester Cathedral and auctioned some work for Ataxia. I sold quite a lot on Etsy and my daughter-in-law has an Etsy shop called The Drunken Bath Tub from which she donates to Ataxia as well.
