Dear all

I thought it would be helpful to signpost this piece of information that went onto the Ataxia UK website today -

'Registering as extremely vulnerable to qualify for extra support

Many people with underlying health conditions have already received notifications to advise staying inside for 12 weeks to self-isolate. You can find a list of different conditions that class as 'vulnerable' here.

If you were expecting to be included in this, and are not, you can register as extremely vulnerable here. This is key for receiving additional support e.g. getting deliveries of essential supplies (such as food and medication). The advice states that if you are unsure whether your condition makes you extremely vulnerable, to apply anyway.

NB: for the registration to go through, respondents need to click 'yes' on the page 'Do you have a medical condition that makes you extremely vulnerable to coronavirus?' (if you click 'no' it states that you are ineligible). '

Best wishes

Harriet
