We have started a group for the youngish folk in our area. It is to support, inform and help build friendships. I am 32 with Friedreichs and don’t know many people my age with the condition.

I am 44 ans stay in north ayrshire

Great. The branch has monthly meetings in the community room in Tesco at Silverburn and they are usually well attended.

The next one is Sunday 1st March from 2-4pm. We are having a Pilates class beforehand that you are welcome to join, it’s from 1-2pm.

There is a member of the branch who comes from north Ayrshire too.

Hi Derek here from the West of Scotland branch

As you know from Shona, we meet in the community room of Tesco Silverburn

If you’re driving, give customer service your car reg number and you can park all day and they will guide you to the community room

People come with family, friends or carers so your husband is very welcome

As you know we normally meet on 1st sunday of the month (2pm - 4pm). and from March, we will be having a Pilates class at 1pm

Due to unavailability however some dates will change so will be meeting:

1 March

12 April

3 May

14 June

I dont know where our Ayrshire member lives - we only ask for e-mail to keep in contact
