The NHS is really at breaking point! I have just come home from 3 weeks in the hospital after a bad leg break and an operation and saw how they almost cannot cope. Everybody working there is trying the best they can and work very hard but when somebody like me with cerebellar ataxia and virtual blindness comes they do not know how to handle that. But they try.

Yes I quite agree with you.
I have heard from my daughter-in-law and my brother both of whom needed emergency treatment that they felt the same as you.
Both in different hospitals but both in NHS
🙂 It must be a relief to get home, we all know how difficult hospital stays are.
My daughter has a knee operation next week (no ataxia but she has a 4mth old baby to contend with).
I totally agree. I had a badly broken leg too & had an op & hospital stay end of last year. The staff are wonderful but overstretched!
