Uk-wheelchairs I used. I got a Excel G-lite pro. 16 inch wide, swing in/out foot plates, I’m not sure if the arm rests are removable but you can push them down to get out easier.

Hi Murcia

Karma 125 wheelchair I think is 16" wide & has swing in/out removable foot rests plus swing away arm rests. I know they're not the cheapest but ..... Take a look.

An Occupational Therapist via ur local hospital may be able to assist also.

Hi Murcia your gp should be able to refer you for a wheelchair assessment for a manual chair. Your assessment should include how often you need the chair, how you transfer in/out of it, risk of tripping (swing in/out hangers), activities you do from the chair and how much self propelling you do indepe dently, is there someone to help pump up the tyre (if not then ask for solid tyres). All of this information is important to give so you get the right wheelchair. If purchasing privately then make sure you have professional advice as not all wheelchair dealers have integrity...they have a business to run. Many wheelchairs on the market have the features you asked for but some makes are less durable. If you are buying privately ask them to show you the options of chairs with the features you need...dont fall into the trap of answering their question "what is your budget?". There are some excellent dealerships around and some are run by or have occupational therapists as part of the team - choose these dealerships. Occupational therapists have a code of conduct they have to work to and are professionally regulated - so they have to assess your best interest. Hope this is more useful than me providing you with a list of equipment options!

Good luck.

I have a Kuschall Compact and it does everything you mentioned. It is made to measure and built to your specification, even the tyres. It is

fairly light, everything is adjustable to your needs and folds up for easy storage or putting in a car. I use mine all the time, both indoors and outside. Not cheap but worth every penny. ~ Bob-
