Hemp Oil

Hi, I an wondering if anyone with Ataxia has tried Hemp Oil. My husband just started taking it days ago. He thought he would try it and give it a chance to see if there is any improvement in his balance, gait, and falling I am not sure if it could hurt him or interfere with his medications.

I have not, but on your post I have just been reading up on it. I would be very interested to know if your husband thinks it does make a difference. Hope that is ok? xx

The Hemp oil didn't help him at all.

Thank you for letting me know, so I guess we will have to wait for the next cure! I have not found anything myself that actually has helped, but I promise if I do I will let you know. xx

Please make sure you speak to any medical professionals he’s under 1st. I myself was going to try this back in dec but after speaking to my GP & my neurologist was told I would first have to come off the majority of my pain killer meds as they would interact with possible life threatening consequences. So please always check that it’s safe before starting anything new including any herbal & over the counter you may wish to try.
