I have an electric adult scooter and I got it with the seat so I could work on my trunk first. I am already progressing to standing on it after just 3 weeks - it's the qiewa hummer. It has 3 gears and on top gear reaches 30mph, it's range is 60 miles. I also found aqua aerobics helps my balance and it makes you feel good!
I am lucky because there is an electric trike dealer nearby. I could try before I buy. Hopefully hire will influence final price. As yet not found trike that disassembles into car. High car roof and loading ramp or hoist would put trike in car. Or could use a trailer. My problem is storage. With garage or drive would have somewhere to store trike or trailer. So hire solves my storage conundrum.
There are also tramper use nearby at Fell Foot and Whinlatter Forest. As yet (Morecambe) Bay Cycle hire network, do not have trikes for hire. Keep asking them.
Currently car boot is full of dissembled electric scooter. Car vibrations have loosened scooter bolts. Thread lock fluid? Scooter is 24 volt, car is 12 volt, so mains inverter in car charges used scooter batteries. Or has anyone else find a 12v charger?
Car is clever enough not to flatten its battery whilst charging.
Try swimming much better and safer.
Hi, I have a supascoota, it is great for travel, goes in the boot or there is a travel scoot I think that’s what you call it, light weight. Enjoy, what ever you choose.
