Some good news

Some of you might have seen my previous post about lymphoma and ataxia...my brother was diagnosed with both in November. He has gone through 6 cycles of chemotherapy (he is so strong!!) and we are now waiting for the final scan to see whether he is in remission. He is already looking and feeling a lot better- somehow his ataxia symptoms seem to have improved. He can walk without a stick, he can speak better and he has even started to read books again!

We are still going to investigate further to find out what type of SCA he has, but I am over the moon for his improvements, and full of hope that he can have a better quality of life.

Xx

Hi, that is great news your brother is doing so well. My Nan, cousin and aunt all beat cancer, hope your brother gets a great result. Wishing him all the best.
