Obviously everyone very different need wise, but I have just got a care alarm (they have many different ones). So reassuring for my family and me. When weather better I can get out again and mine will track where I am. If I need help I can call for a relative, friend or emergency services 24/7. My family can track me too.
A lovely guy came out to install, test, explain and register me and fill in my details and bring pendant. Mine is a one off payment and monthly rental. I needed 3 contacts. x
Hi little I have a care alarm for round the house don't need outside as cannot go out alone but it also gives my family please of mind when I am alone as I am not good on my feet
Lifeline is the generic name for these fall monitors. Installation was free but pay a weekly rental. All done through OT. Pay county adult care weekly rental who organise it all. They sub contract to WELbeing. (correct speeling with one L)
When pendant battery expires, free replacement. Carbon Monoxide monitor and toast alarm both free on monitor also.
Pendant should be tested every month. False alarms mean no testing needed. Pendant fall monitor does not like my sitting down, nor taking off at night. Sensitivity can be altered.
Only works within range of base station, in house, not outside, as connected to land line.-
Thanks for the link Litty, something for me to keep in mind or even enquire about, I read the whole item and suggest others do too, especially the video at the very bottom of the page, xxx
