Another wheelchair donation!

Dear all,

We have been contacted by a Friend of Ataxia UK who is donating her wheelchair, free, to anyone who might need it. The model is a Cyclone Advantage 4, and you can see the picture below.

It can be collected from the Bristol area for free, or a small donation can be made to Ataxia UK.You can get in touch with us via [e-mail] if you're interested.

What a generous offer. Looks just the thing we're thinking of for independent indoor use, but my husband is waiting for wheelchair assessment (wonder how long that's going to take). Until then we have no idea about wheelchairs or what's going to be suitable (size, style etc), so maybe we should leave this for someone who knows this is just what they need. But thank you.

Thanks Steph - we're not holding our breath. We already have to wait 6 months for a neuro-physio appointment.
