Every time I think it is something new then I find that you have all been through it before,
I love B! because she was the first person I spoke to on this site that we did not talk about our condition, but what we can still do, I made a cake and it was pretty good, I have no answers as I don't understand what I am going through, but so many people on this site give you hope and that is all we really have......................

Hi Denise. Congrats on making the cake. Was it good and calorie full?
Ataxia affects different people in different ways and it is good to have this site to ask questions and for advice. One piece of advice I have seen is not to relate a condition to Ataxia and have it checked by GP, i.e. loss of balance could be an ear infection and not Ataxia related.
Personally, I try and do things for myself -- probably the same as many others -- and wont let '..this bug**r grind me down..'. I get great satisfaction in doing things for myself. I have learned my limitations and do things within those constraints, takes longer than they used to but work around it.
Keep smiling and put your best foot forward...enjoy yourself
