Thanks to everyone who replied to my post and it looks like my friend may be in for a long wait after reading the comments. It seems strange that you can carry on driving whilst they make their decision and then perhaps come back and tell you NO you cannot drive anymore. We will have to wait and see and I will keep you posted on how long the final decision takes. Thanks again.
